The brief for this project was to find opportunity for improvement in a public space and was set by Bond and Coyne, Winchester.
After a lot of intensive field work and research, I designed an indoor viewing gallery, suited for St Giles Hill viewpoint, Winchester.
The Giles Gallery offers:
• A 360 degree appreciation of the viewpoint
• An enhanced public experience with useful facilities
• All year round shelter
• And a location sensitive aesthetic - Environmentally Sympathetic
I represented this design in a number of communicative media including; 1:100 scaled model, CAD 3D, (cheetah 3D software) and numerous illustrations like Orthographics, Interiors, material diagrams and 'in-location' illustration.
-interiors include compass flooring and circular ceiling timeline of local history
