This brief asked for a series of poster executions which "stand out from the noise."

I have designed and produced a series of poster stickers, to present the 3D illusion of the metro's physical presence for a 2D solution - easily mass produced and suitable for various locations.

The Project takes advantage of the well known observation where by commuters pick up old copies of the metro newspaper, which have been left by previous readers. These metros are often found on seats of trains, buses, tubes or cafe tables etc.*

In response to this social practice, my campaign aims to promote this re-use of the newspaper and presents it’s benefits with an eco-friendly tone. It highlights the process of passing the same metro from reader to reader and “Recycling as you read," reducing the number of copies needed and therefore the effects of carbon production emissions. At present their is an average of 3 readers per copy (www.metro.co.uk)

*it is however important to recognize that my advertising installations are encouraging the papers to be left in suitable, indoor locations so as not to encourage litter.
